Often I try to be clever and almost always I fail
Today I was asked by the student in charge of my place of learning's iPad lab what it is that I am always doing with my iPad and I told him: "online Christmas shopping"
The thing about online Christmas shopping that is so addictive is that it makes me lust for love
With online shopping in its most basic form- shopping for myself- I guess I'm lusting for love as well.
But shopping for others online has been for me an experience that is quite selfish
"Think of how thoughtful this gift is! They'll love it and consequently me"
And so I've found wonderful gifts for my wonderful friends and they'll be wrapped up in silver foil and adorned with simple notes declaring the thoughtful care I took in their purchasing
And the gifts will cry: "open me open me so that I might declare the love my giver has for you" and I will cry: "open them open them so you will know how good I am to have love for you"
